Lessons that build empathy, compassion, and respect for animals and the environment

Testimonials
“The Crate Free USA digital presentation that I used in my 6th grade science classes helped to introduce students to positive actions that humans can make to animals and our environment … and delivered it in a non-threatening, yet serious manner.”
“This program, highly engaging and educational, provides important information about how animals are raised for food in a way that is age appropriate and easy to understand with the ultimate goal being to help kids make more conscientious food decisions. One of our third grade attendees said it best, “Hip Hip Hooray for Free Range Farmers!”
“I can’t say enough great things about Crate Free USA and their program. Their founder and president, Jessica Chipkin, is fantastic to work with and really customized the content to meet the intended audience. I also appreciated the variety of ‘ways you can help’ they provided that included many options and not just abstinence that could work for a variety of different lifestyles and food needs. The inclusion of a local farmer as a guest speaker really brought the entire event to a more localized and meaningful level as well.”
“The Crate Free USA presentation given by Jess and Alex to our sixth graders was phenomenal! It provided the students with a new perspective on the food we eat. The students were able to learn about the various issues that factory farms pose for the animals raised in factory farms as well as some of the negative impacts factory farms have on humans and on the environment.
The presenters presented not only the issues, but also provided a variety of ways in which we can all add a little grain of sand to make a difference and together make a positive impact for factory farm animals, our health, and our environment. The Crate Free USA presentation also provided our students with the knowledge and tools to be more informed consumers at the supermarket. Jess and Alex are great and we were extremely lucky to have them visit and share their knowledge and passion for a Crate Free USA.”
“Our students were surprised to learn about the distinctions between pasture-raised, cage-free, and free-range eggs. The discussion about the production of veal left a lasting impression on them, highlighting the importance of awareness in our food choices.
We are incredibly grateful for the time you dedicated to speaking with us and for your commitment to creating such an impactful organization. Your efforts inspire us all to think critically about animal welfare and sustainability.”
