Lessons that build empathy, compassion, and respect for animals and the environment
Teaching Children where their food comes from
Make Humane Education Part of Every Child’s Learning Experience
Children have a natural fascination with animals. Our goal is to build on that affinity by showing the connection between the food on our plates and the lives of the animals who feed us.
We inform and educate ─ without indoctrination ─ to cultivate kindness and respect towards all living things from farm animals to humans, and develop more thoughtful and informed consumers.

Testimonials
“The Crate Free USA digital presentation that I used in my 6th grade science classes helped to introduce students to positive actions that humans can make to animals and our environment … and delivered it in a non-threatening, yet serious manner.”
“This program, highly engaging and educational, provides important information about how animals are raised for food in a way that is age appropriate and easy to understand with the ultimate goal being to help kids make more conscientious food decisions. One of our third grade attendees said it best, “Hip Hip Hooray for Free Range Farmers!”
“I can’t say enough great things about Crate Free USA and their program. Their founder and president, Jessica Chipkin, is fantastic to work with and really customized the content to meet the intended audience. I also appreciated the variety of ‘ways you can help’ they provided that included many options and not just abstinence that could work for a variety of different lifestyles and food needs. The inclusion of a local farmer as a guest speaker really brought the entire event to a more localized and meaningful level as well.”
